Quantum Algorithms

All over the world, people are working hard to realize the quantum computer. However, what can we do with such a computer once we have it up and running? This section answers that question by discussing several so-called quantum algorithms. 

The study of quantum algorithms impacts a wide variety of fields, including information theory, cryptography, language theory, and mathematics. You will see that the world of quantum has many properties that we can exploit to design algorithms that provide us with an exponential speedup compared to its classical counterpart. 

Care to try out some of these algorithms? One platform that is already in use is Quantum Inspire (QI), a quantum computing platform designed and build by QuTech. The goal of Quantum Inspire is to provide users access to various technologies to perform quantum computations and insights in principles of quantum computing and access to the community.
